Grandsons of Queen Elizabeth II, princes William and Harry who are very close to each other are expected to go separate ways. Before the birth of Prince Harry’s first child (due in April or May), they’re expected to create separate courts. In terms of their charity work and royal duties, they want to seek a more independent path from each other.
According to The Sunday Times, a formal separation of their staff may help in solving some recently-reported tensions between the brothers and their wives-Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. They operated through a joint household till now but now they are planning to carry out more distinctive roles for themselves. Prince William has to take on additional duties as a future king after father Charles along with many other responsibilities. This is clear from the division of their shared household after 10 years. A royal source said that the main division would be of their communication teams. Another source said that there would be a gulf in the style and approach to the type of work that William and Kate will do as future head of state and consort. Harry and Meghan would have more of a blank canvas with their roles.
Princes William and Harry will continue to work together on their charitable royal foundation along with their wives. Their foundation supports mental health, conservation, vulnerable young people and veterans.
